Kudan LGA Records Significant Progress in Infrastructure Projects
In a major boost to the area's power supply, the council has executed critical electrical upgrades across multiple wards. These initiatives include the repair of vandalized cables and the replacement of old high-tension poles along the Almajiri School in Hunkuyi, and the complete replacement of 28 high-tension poles along the Rimin Biso to Zabi route. Additional projects, such as the extension of electricity to the INEC Office and transformer repairs in Likoro Ward, have further strengthened the reliability of the electrical grid. Complementing these electrical works, significant building renovations have also been finalized. The Local Government Secretariat office blocks have been revitalized to improve the working environment for civil servants. Furthermore, the recently upgraded Kyadai Healthcare Center is now poised to offer an enhanced standard of care for the community. An ongoing project at the U.B.E School in Anguwan Dutse is also underway, demonstrating the council's continued commitment to upgrading educational facilities. These concerted efforts in both electrical and civil infrastructure underscore the local government's dedication to fostering development, improving public safety, and enhancing the overall quality of life for the people of Kudan.
